Got an awesome package when I got off work. Famous Names sent me mini samples!! Awesome :). I've never tried FN Dadi'Oil but have seen this being raved about by so many! Besides the oil I also got Lumos bottom coat and top coat. I cant wait to try these products out and if they are awesome like many claim I will for sure keep this in our shop! :)
You will need some mini-stampers from a craft store, inexpensive. I got a flower, music note, and a heart. Ziplock or sandwich baggy. And a few of your favorite polishes. I used fast dry ones. Paint the polishes in squares or any shape you think is more efficient. I let each layer air dry (2 coats each took me 15mins.) before applying the next. Each shape peels off easily and just insert into your stamper and poof!! I like making my own nail art because I customize looks for clients and this helps me offer a different type of art compared to other techs.
I cant express how I adore Essie. From the cute glass bottle with raised lettering and not weird shaped caps to the skinny brushes. These polishes dry fast and apply so easily. I've loved Essie since way back and still adore their lines!! I did a simple mani with only art on one finger on each hand. I wear dark colors nearly everyday and blues have become an obsession. Bobbing is a dark denim like blue... Smooth is sparkly shimmery periwinkle esque. I took pics holding a PROP gun that was made for a cosplay costume.. wanted a diff object hold pic :).
Went into CVS for a few needs.... left with some deals!! I'm not a huge fan of Crackle nail polishes but some clients love it. I saw Sally Hansen's Crackle Coats were 75% off so I had to grab three! Usually they are $7.29 a bottle I got them for a steal at $1.83 each. I now own Distressed Denim, Vintage Violet, and Ink Splatter. Before leaving I remembered I was low on mascara so I cked Maybelline and SCORE I got Telescopic Explosion and Volum'Express ONE by ONE at 50% off!! These items were bought with no coupons... Omg if I had coupons I would feel a tiny bit relatable to some Extreme Couponers... Just a tad. :) Well I love brands but I live for deals so go ck out your local drugstores cause there are hidden gems there... Hey speaking of Gems Sally Hansen Gems had sale stickers but only two colors were left so I didnt bother but if u were looking they are there and on sale!
OPI, Gel II, Venique, Light Elegance, and Starpro UV gels made it into my little bag from this trip. Trying to sort these items into my medium Caboodle has been a nightmare. After many attempts I give up. Online now looking at new train cases. So many to choose from I can hardly decide!! Need a good durable one cause I'm doing house calls next week. :)
I use Wet n' Wild's everybody loves Raymond, Sally Hansens HD Blu, art deco black and silver glitter, wet n' wild's coloricon in white. I used a Victoria dotting brush to help with details. No clean up.
I attended for the first time this year with my sister. It was an amazing experience. We had so much fun. I saw soooo many vendors that had such awesome products. Got a new Starpri UV lamp. I really wanted an LED lamp but I was too overwhelmed to even remember. It was a good time. A lot of new ideas were shown on what could be offered in our shop. I will post some pics from the convention. Im excited on my new polishes by Venique, macadamia hair stuff, and trying this new system by gel II. We will be attending next year for sure!
